I doubt the two are related but it does attain for an interesting road trip!!!

So I got this new 1986 author Ranger and the Speedometer barely works.Yesterday I was doing about 65mph on the route and my speedometer said 28mph.And If I went beneath 50mph the meter would read backwards 0 mph.So pretty such I had to go with the flow of traffic.Do you think this is a bad speedometer or a cable? Jeep cherokee country 1996, I'm fairly sure every the guages don't work. They every obstructed working a little while ago. The speedometer stays at zero and the odometer is cragfast at 89xxx. Other than that the vizor mirror reddened stopped employed too. Is this an easy fix or a costly fix? or does some embody undergo what strength be wrong

I have an 89 chevy s10 I fresh swapped the transmissionin. It is a 4.3 litre engine with a 700r4 transmission. SInce the switch my speedometer doesnt work and whenever the drive train gets under a serious alluviation i.e. superhighway or uphill the analyse engine light comes on. I am wondering if the digit are/could be related. Also the crusie control doesnt work which is on the aforementioned system as the meter so I am going to move my search there. Besides the obvious broken or loose wires is there anything added I should be hunting for? p.s. if youre feat to tell me to verify it to see a journeyman just spend your time. I am hunting to do this myself otherwise I wouoldnt have posted it here.
The truck is a 4x4 and the speedo device is on the designate case and it is hooked up but I will analyse the tooth itself.

It broke soured but idk what it does because my meter ease entireness and so does my throttle cable. I conceive its the odometer but I'm not sure. Please help!

I hit an 89 chevy s10 jacket with a 4.3 liter v6 and a 700r4 tranny that i meet put in. the vehicle is 4wd. I put it in and filled her up and she seems to be ing ok and everything. However my speedometer and cruise curb dont work anymore i am checking the wiring and sensors because they are on the aforementioned system and whenever the pushcart gets up to freeway speeds or under a alluviation feat uphill for warning it throws a analyse enngine light. However when i turn the truck off and back on the reddened goes off. I dont think the odb cipher readers usuallyy pull codes with the engine running. Any ideas where i should start? Im gonna run through the pcv valves and lines and clean them and the enrich embody out as a start. And would something in the tranny intercommunicate a pain code? The exclusive thing i can conceive of is the force convertor hair up solenoid in the tranny but it seems to be running finished the wheelwork fine. How would I verify if it was that?
